With your help, our members can continue to do business and continue to be a part of our communities across the Commonwealth. By supporting MRU, you are ensuring that small independent restaurants get the representation they need and in turn serve their communities.

Independent Restaurant Member Benefits

If you are an independent restaurant, bar, catering, or café owner, MRU membership benefits for your restaurant (or restaurant group) include, but are not limited to:

• MRU discounts for software, products, and operational expenses such as accounting

• Invitations to educational programming and training year-round

• The opportunity to Spotlight your restaurants on our social media or through our newsletter in Member Spotlight

• MRU’s main focus is advocacy on behalf of independent restaurants. We are here to advocate for you as well as bring attention to our elected officials on issues that matter most to you. As a member you have direct line to our legislative team to inform us of matters we may not be aware of. Learn more about MRU’s victories over the last two years here.

• Access to our MRU Slack channel which provides an industry space to ask questions and bounce ideas off each other. By accepting the invite you agree to the rules and regulations to help us maintain a comfortable space for our members to interact with industry professionals.

Industry Membership

This membership is for individuals/entities who own, operate, or are employed by independent restaurants, cafes, catering companies, bars, tap rooms and/or bars. 

Partner members pay an annual membership fee, may occupy a designated Board position, may serve on committees and are not entitled to vote.

• Company Logo and one time offer in MRU Newsletter

• Early Opportunity to sponsor MRU Events

Membership is $50 per year.

Industry Associate Membership

Entities that do not own or operate on independent restaurant/bar but businesses that provide a service (ex: Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing + Legal Services) to the restaurant industry AND their business model and mission aligns directly with ours.

Partner members pay an annual membership fee, may occupy a designated Board position, may serve on committees and are not entitled to vote.

Perks:

• Company Logo listed on Website

• Welcome on Social Media

• Company Logo and one time offer in Newsletter

• Early Opportunity to sponsor MRU Events

Associate Tiers of Membership:

• Up to $500k annual revenue - $150

• Above $501k but not exceeding $1 million - $250

• Above $1 million but not exceeding $3million - $350

Trade + Corporate Partner

Large entities that do not own or operate an independent restaurant/bar but are businesses that provide goods (ex: Food + Beverage Distributors) and software (ex: Payroll, Reservation Systems, and Point of Sale) to the restaurant industry AND their business model and mission aligns directly with ours.

Partner members pay an annual membership fee, may occupy a designated Board position, may serve on committees and are not entitled to vote.

• Early Opportunity + 10% discount to sponsor MRU Events

Trade Tiers of Membership:

• Up to $5 million annual revenue - $1000

• Above $5 million but not exceeding $15 million - $3000

Event + Webinar Sponsorship

Businesses may sponsor MRU events and webinars. Members are eligible for a discount and first right of refusal on all sponsorable events.

Individuals or entities that own or operate independent restaurants, cafes, catering companies and bars as well as entities that provide a service to the restaurant industry AND their business model and mission aligns directly with ours.

Sponsors may occupy ad designated Board position, may serve on committees and are not entitled to vote.

Perks:

• Dedicated slide submitted by sponsor (subject to MRU approval) included in the presentation.

• 60 second elevator pitch

• Sponsor information included in promotional materials of Event/Webinar

• Company Logo and one time offer in Newsletter

• Early Opportunity to sponsor MRU Events.

• Webinars are recorded and available on demand on MRU’s website for at least on year.

• Presenting and Title Sponsorships available.
